4. Third-party software and service providers
To operate my business, I use third-party software and service providers for tasks such as collecting enquiries, managing bookings, sending emails, storing or delivering photographs, processing payments and maintaining my website.
These providers may process or store personal information on my behalf to deliver their services. Depending on the provider, information may be stored or processed in Australia or overseas.
I aim to use reputable providers and limit the information shared to what is reasonably necessary for the relevant service. These providers may also handle information in accordance with their own privacy policies and terms.
I do not authorise service providers to use your personal information for their own unrelated marketing purposes on my behalf.
Because third-party services have their own security practices and policies, I encourage you to review their privacy information when using their platforms.

Your photographs are personal to you and your family, and I treat them with care.
I use photographs to fulfil your photography booking, edit and deliver your gallery, and maintain appropriate business records.
I do not automatically have permission to publish your photographs on my website, social media, advertising or other promotional material simply because you have booked a session.
If I would like to share your photographs publicly, I will seek your permission separately.
I respect children’s privacy and do not publicly post identifiable photographs of children on my business social media. If you choose to share your own family photographs and tag my business, you remain in control of what you publish. I will not assume that being tagged gives me permission to repost photographs containing your children.
Please note that photographs may be accessible to you and anyone you choose to share your private gallery with. You are responsible for how you distribute gallery links and downloaded images.
6. Email communications and marketing
When you contact me, I use your details to respond and communicate with you about your enquiry, booking or purchase.
I may use third-party email services to send these communications.
If you choose to subscribe to marketing emails, I may send you occasional updates about photography sessions, business news, educational resources, presets, courses and other relevant offerings.
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link provided, where available, or by contacting me directly.
Unsubscribing from marketing emails will not prevent me from sending essential communications relating to an existing booking, purchase or other business transaction.

Depending on the information involved, this may include using password-protected accounts, reputable third-party platforms and appropriate access controls.
I retain personal information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purposes for which it was collected, including providing services, maintaining business records and meeting legal obligations.
